Mark is a highly motivated, strategic, Consultant / Managing Director who has developed a brilliant reputation for himself within the ISO consultancy sectors.
Through his experience and desire for business to not only improve but create a realistic growth plan. He has successfully helped multiple businesses of all sizes within different sectors become ISO Certified. Whether this be a first-time certification, maintaining or recovering, Mark and his team still proudly promote their 100% pass rate.
Previous to working in ISO systems, Mark had more than 20 years’ experience in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector along with service industry. Mark’s aspiration for future business development caused him to establish Mark1 in 2003, starting business with those from past experiences to gain attraction.
His industry qualifications in operational management, quality management, auditing, process mapping, environmental management, occupational health & safety, and Information Security ensure he is well placed to advise clients. His specialist areas of expertise include water treatment, energy management, chemicals, paper coating, engineering and electrical.
The implementation process starts with a strategic meeting with top management to discover the objectives of the business and relevant steps taken to achieve them. This is followed by analysis of any risks and legal compliance which help in determining the scope of the business.
A fun fact about Mark? Well, he is still very active in the martial arts (karate and Jui-Jitsu) industry. In his spare time, he runs a successful martial arts club within his local community. With brief past spells, training with the England Karate team, Mark is proud to offer his services to help out the younger generations.
