About Steven Bonfield

Having recently retired from its four-person Board of Directors, Steven Bonfield remains a Consultant with  Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors.   Known as ‘Yorkshire’s Legal People’, Chadwick Lawrence employs more than 200 lawyers and support team members from offices in Leeds,  Wakefield, Huddersfield, Bradford and four other locations throughout the region. He  joined the team at NIAG to spearhead his firm’s development into the North West.

Steven specialises in corporate finance and transactional work.  While his clients have included PLCs, major sports clubs, and international companies seeking legal representation in the UK, for most of his 40 year plus career,   Steven has assisted scores of SMEs and their owner managers to realise their full potential and value.

Whether it be a  strategic reconstruction, merger, acquisition or buyout, Steven has the experience, expertise and ability to be able to explain clearly and concisely to clients considering an involvement with NIAG, precisely what is involved from the legal perspective and how to go about it.
